Following a successful period of free studio residencies last summer Trowbridge Arts are now able to offer artists affordable studio spaces during the next phase of our development.
There are four studio spaces on the first floor of the Town Hall, three of which are already let. The studios are arranged around a central ‘gallery’ space which will be the location for periodic public exhibitions and events.
There is one studio available to rent now. Known as the Interview Room it is a small room, 57 sqft, and is available for £30 per month.
Our studios are let out on a month-by-month basis and applications are invited from artists at any stage in their career.
Trowbridge Town Hall is a Grade 2 listed building built in 1889. It has had various functions over the years and until recently housed the local magistrates courts. In its un-renovated state it has been home to Trowbridge Arts for 18 months during which time the venue has mainly been used to show professional theatre productions.
To apply please contact Visual Arts and Exhibitions Manager, Fiona Cassidy – firstname.lastname@example.org
