Now in its 30th year, The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is the largest and most prestigious prize for contemporary watercolour painting in the UK. Whether it be through abstract or figurative, contemporary or traditional, the competition aims to celebrate and redefine the beauty and diversity of watercolour and water-based media.

Father Christmas has been working with us and Trowbridge Museum to plan some visits to meet children in Trowbridge this year. You’ll not only visit Father Christmas but you’ll get to take part in a craft session, where you’ll make something special to take home, get a photograph with Father Christmas and get a special present. Father Christmas will be with us on Saturdays Nov 25, Dec 16 and 23.

India on film in your Community!
During 2017 the British Film Institute is celebrating the diversity of Indian cinematography, considering it India has one of the world’s fertile film industries. The season includes restorations of classics, new releases and a variety of activities. We want to be part of ‘India on Film’ screening a contemporary very popular production that shows us about this rich culture through universal feelings of love, loneliness and hope.

Ever since the accident, time for Mrs. Gerrish had been at a standstill. For the umpteenth time she flicks through the wellthumbed issue of ‘True Detective’ that she’d found tucked under the bed in Room 13.

To combat her boredom she starts to observe the comings and goings of her neighbours through the large picture window her Jack had put in after Jerry dropped that land mine over the back in 1942. It had landed slap bang on Mr. Minton’s garden shed and blew his Hayter Harrier lawn mower clean through her rear window.
